Designed and built from scratch to give the Configuration Management and engineering teams real-time visibility into change-request status, approvals, and ownership across TUSAS Malaysia projects. Replaces manual status tracking and reporting with live, filterable views tied directly to the SCCB workflow - cutting reporting effort and keeping change data audit-ready.

SCCB Digital Approval Workflow

JIRA Approvals & Automation Redesign - Turkish Aerospace Malaysia (TUSAS)

Replaced a manual, minutes-based SCCB approval process with an auditable Jira Premium workflow. Diagnosed the core risk - SCR/PR/ECM decisions lived in free-text meeting minutes with no system-enforced link to the ticket - and designed a three-part fix: a dedicated SCCB Review issue type, native digital Approvals for unanimous timestamped sign-off, and three Automation Rules removing manual handling entirely. Built a full traceability matrix mapping every governance rule to its Jira mechanism, and caught a design flaw pre-build where unanimous approval over an empty approver field would auto-pass with zero real sign-offs.

Item ID Standardization & Field Enforcement

JIRA Data Quality Initiative - Turkish Aerospace Malaysia (TUSAS)

Configuration items and change requests in JIRA lacked a consistent identification scheme, making it harder to trace items across baselines and link related changes. Proposed and implemented a standardized Item ID scheme so every configuration item and change request follows a consistent, traceable naming convention, alongside mandatory field enforcement on change request issue types - closing gaps where incomplete records were previously accepted and improving data quality at the point of entry rather than catching it later during audits. Approved by management and currently rolling out across the CM function.
